Fall short in the regular season? Well, now you can redeem yourself!
Pick 6 Playoffs Edition
The playoffs will work a little differently. Because we've decided that so many people would screw up on the bracket and its seeding, we decided we would just pick against the spread. Believe me, I think the spread is ridiculous, but it's still a pretty fun way to continue on.
We aren't necessarily picking the winner, so be careful.
Example:
Seattle -7
MINNESOTA +7
This means that Seattle is favored by a touchdown. Picking Seattle, you would want them to win by MORE than 7 points. A pick for the Vikings means that they win or lose by less than 7. Again, not just picking the winners and losers here. If Seattle wins be exactly a touchdown, that would be a push. That is worth one point. Everyone wins a point then. Woohoo!
We will also add in the over/under.
So, if it says:
Seattle -7
MINNESOTA +7
Over/under 48
You will pick against the spread and pick if the combined score will be over or under 48 total points. Over/under will be worth one point. So three points if you get everything right. Two points if you get a push and the over/under right or the pick right but the over/under wrong. One point if you just get the over/under right or just a push. Lots of points to be had! We'll also make the Super Bowl game fair so that these points leading up to the final game will actually count. Meaning, those questions will be worth just one or two each, as well. It should keep everyone in it!
A correct pick is worth 2 points
A push is worth 1 point
A correct over/under is worth 1 point
Max score per game is 3 points
Example post with fake teams/numbers:
Here are this weekend's matchups (home teams are capitalized):
Saturday Games:
Texans +10
RAVENS -10
over/under 44
Packers +10
NINERS -10
over/under 51
Sunday Games:
Bucs +7
LIONS -7
over/under 49
Chiefs +3
BILLS -3
over/under 46

As always, good luck!
