The offense is extremely well balanced, I think where we have an advantage is with Shannahan calling the plays. He is extremely creative and distributes the ball to everyone. I think they will implement a similar game plan that you faced against GB. We are similar to GB but, in my opinion, we have more talent on O. 

I am most looking forward to Kittle vs your D. You have the highest rated D vs the TE. I wonder if they will keep doing what they are doing as it has been working or if there will be a scheme in place that gives him more attention. 

With our D becoming healthy (Ford, Tart, and Alexander are back) we can now get after the QB with four linemen and not need to blitz. I would spy Cook with Alexander or Warner and let the D-line pin their ears back. If we can create chaos I think Cousins will make some mistakes.

I feel if you can jump on them early they will panic and be baited into bad plays by trying to over compensate. I would be curious to know your thoughts on Jimmy-G. Most people believe he is a game manager and only successful due to Shannahan, mainly because that was the line from the east coast talking heads of ESPN and not because anyone watched any games.

I don’t believe he is a game manager, however, I do believe he’s easily rattled. He’s very much a rhythm passer, and if we can disrupt that a bit, it will certainly change the game. Kittle makes me nervous though, very good at what he does.

What also makes me nervous is shanny’s familiarity with Cousins. You have a very good defense and I believe that alone will cause Kirk to have a rough day of it.

If you are banking on playoff experience as what separates you, you are in trouble.  This team has been designed with strong leading vets, they are always mentoring and keeping everyones head on right. The moments have never been to big for this team, so don't bank of them panicking.

If you are banking on playoff experience as what separates you, you are in trouble.  This team has been designed with strong leading vets, they are always mentoring and keeping everyones head on right. The moments have never been to big for this team, so don't bank of them panicking. 

How did that Atlanta game work out? Seattle was about to punch you guys in the d@#% and steal home field.

You have a pretty likeable team that will be a force for awhile. I like Lynch/Shanny and a bunch of your roster. But don't underestimate a team playing its first playoff game in a while laying an egg. It happens. Honesty I put Baltimore in that group as well. Would not be shocked if the Titans pull a similar upset.

No one has played three teams in a row with a better then .800 record. Coming off a two week road trip, with the last two being extremely physical. They caught us. What is interesting is that you are coming off playing the same team, have a short week, and need to travel. 

That Seattle comment is cute, and would matter if we were playing with horseshoes or hand grenades.

I realize you are just trying to get some rivalry banter going, but, how is that cute? Your Defense had no answer for Seattle late. They were inches away from scoring 21 4th qtr points on you guys. In fact, and again, I have watched the 49'ers a lot this year since they are often on where I live, but it seems like the 49'er defense has taken a step back of late. Couldn't get a stop against Atlanta either. Were pretty Lucky that the Seattle game didn't end the same way the Atlanta game did.

BTW, I was rooting for you guys. I am not trying to trash SF (I mean your citizens do that enough, how is the poop patrol going anyway?)

But The Vikes match up better against SF than they did against NO. Granted that rarely has translated in the Vikings favor come playoff time, but I am optimistic.

If the 49'ers prevail then I hope they go all the way. Can't stand GB or Seattle.

I think that's probably overstating things a bit. They also had a lot of cake games leading up to it. And teams play tough playoff games 3 weeks in a row every single season... so I am not sure it should be an excuse..


My thing is this... I watched you guys destroy the Pack... As a matter of fact, I reveled in it... if that team can show up, I don't think anyone can beat you except maybe Baltimore in the SB... But yeah.. Atlanta. It means you're beatable too.

It will be interesting to watch. I didn't think we'd make it out of the WC, so I'm not going to sit and predict another upset. There's a lot of things though that could make it interesting.

Well.. we lost to the Seahawks too... The whole team forgot to show up in the 3rd quarter of what was otherwise a great football game.

We implement the same D and mix it up. If I'm not mistaken we used a similar look in preseason. Not the same people but same look. We will be using the big nickel again. We can control Kettle just like Thomas. Barr and Sendejo can bracket the middle and you still have over the top help with Harris or Smith. We can actually take away the best two options and have plenty of speed on the DL. It also allows for an extra blitzer and that was pretty effective.

On offense I hope they sub out a TE and run an unbalanced line with an extra T at times. Should help our screen game and getting the edge. Cook gets the edge I like our chances. I just hope the toss sweep is out the window.

Diggs can beat father time one on one so I hope they leave Sherman on an island with him. That 10 yard cushion will be disastrous. Kirk is sharp and can hit the dimes look out. I think we will see some quick hitters if he plays off then comes the long ball. Adam can beat any DB the NFL has so no worries.

I see a dog fight for both teams. We are 6.5 pt dogs and I like that. Keep em hungry Vegas.
